Im still waiting too. e-filed may 23rd. fp done on June 17th.
Expedite request denied, have an infopass appointment on August 14th. I will see what they will say

You are laying your own immaturity out there by rambling on and on about vague facts and statements only to make the same point again and again - that you think IV does not represent EB3. Why dont you state that one line and save us the trouble of reading your meaningless drivel??
yes, this rant is oft repeated by around 5-6 members who do NOT represent the thousands of EB folks (EB2 AND EB3) who are affected by this mess.
So before you start one of your long drawn essays again, step back and THINK (which you do not seem to be doing at all..or are not capable of doing) about whether you are contributing even one bit to solving the problem or trying to add to the problem. we can do a lot more if we spend less time trying to drill sense into wayward people like you.
Think about -

Meeting a lawmaker with the support of IV behind you is not a reflection of a big effort on your side. The power behind that is IV. Now for me or any other EB3 to meet a law maker is not something i would consider an effort since EB3 are willing to put the same effort which you are putting only if they believein what they are doing. To believe a person needs to feel that they are working for a cause that will impact their situation. Not everyone is getting approved. I am still waiting.
I'm also still waiting. I don't know why but everybody getting emails at the same time, around 10 - 11 PM EST. It was not used to be like this before. We used to see approvals during the day also last year. They must have changed the way how their notification system works

I understand your frustration since I am in the same boat but I feel it is wrong to say that the IV efforts are hurting EB3 folks. Not sure if there is basis to support that. Several IV proposals helped all EB categories and failed mainly due to anti-immigrant lobby.
EB3 situation is completely hopeless and only piecemeal reform can help EB3. I am sorry but I do not understand this discussion since this bill (if it ever comes to debate) impacts across all EB (advanced degrees).

The only proposal which helped EB3 is July 2007 fiasco with EAD and AP benefit and before we give thanks to IV please remember that back peddeling by USCIS was not just because of just IV but also because of strong pressure from AILA. If EB3 benefited from July 2007 fiasco it is only because EB3 was part of all the EB categories and not because IV was aware of EB3 plight.
Now after July 2007 nothing has been ever done to relieve pressure on EB3. Called my local congressman's office and left a voice message. Called the offices of Bob Menendez and Henry Cuellar. Rep. Menendez's staff noted down my message and said they will pass it on. Rep. Cuellar's staff mentioned that some of the contents of the bills are contradictory to the things that he supports and got into talking about comprehensive reform. I politely listened to him and reiterated my request, mentioning that his support was very important to get moving on immigration reform. Have to call the other members now. Seemed quite daunting initially However I will try to finish calling the other members as well. Do we still call the office of Ciro Rodriguez ? Going by the postings, they seem to be against the bills.

Did any one of you have two different A#s (one on 140 and other on 485)?
I have two different A #s and in when I applied for AP and EAD, I had used the one on 485 and both were approved.

I agree with you that we are divided in to 'n' number of groups and this is the major weakness of EB Community.

But he was doing the same role that I am doing. He changed his job using AC21 but could not do anything to change his EB categort at that time. Luckily he got GC otherwise he would have been in the first group that you have mentioned and suffering for years and years.
For many people GC is under EB3 due to various reason like employer and lawyer screwup. I can understand the frustration of people waiting since 2001. Same time everyone wants to get faster. So EB2 hates EB1 and EB3 hates EB2 and thats how life goes. We need to hate and love some to keep life interesting. :)
Its a classical case of too many people and very few visa#. Every one has a valid point
1) One group says I have oldest PD I am waiting since 8 years so I need to get GC
2) Second says I have a better category (EB1 & EB2) so I need to be given preference
3) Third group says I was qualified for EB2 but company & lawyer pushed me to EB3
4) Fourth group Say I have MS PhD from US so preference is mine
Actually all 4 have valid justification but the # are so few that you pick one point and you hurt other groups. So conclusion is Admin fix will only help one interest group but it is possible. Immi reform will help everyone but is difficult/ impossible

So EB2 hates EB1 and EB3 hates EB2 and thats how life goes. We need to hate and love some to keep life interesting. :)
Its a classical case of too many people and very few visa#. Every one has a valid point
1) One group says I have oldest PD I am waiting since 8 years so I need to get GC
2) Second says I have a better category (EB1 & EB2) so I need to be given preference
3) Third group says I was qualified for EB2 but company & lawyer pushed me to EB3
4) Fourth group Say I have MS PhD from US so preference is mine
Actually all 4 have valid justification but the # are so few that you pick one point and you hurt other groups. So conclusion is Admin fix will only help one interest group but it is possible. Immi reform will help everyone but is difficult/ impossible

I have been taking several fitness classes in Tristate area and So.Cal over the past 7 years and in every class I have taken so far the number of female participants have always outnumbered the number of male participants. Be it Kickboxing or Strength and Endurance Training. One of my co-worker has started taking Strength Training classes a couple of weeks ago only to tell me that he has new found respect for all the ladies who take those classes religiously every week. I cracked up when he told me ... he was dying to complete the class and kept lowering the weights he picked up while the ladies were going like drill sergeants
I know that females are disproportionately represented in these forums - even so.........I would like to see more women participate. Going forward, I will give $10 towards even female who signs up (upto 10 memberships). If you cannot find company, exercise with a cell phone and pepper spray on you.

Best thing to resolve this is just to have one approval center.
