Get over with it bunch of whiny losers. Someone can can and is willing to do the job cheaper than you.
Think from your client's perspective:
1. Why should he pay you more if he can get someone for cheaper price?
2. Are you willing to do the same job for the salary that is offered by TCS, WIPRO?
3. If you screw up , who is responsible? What can you do to mitigate damage? TCS/WIPRO can replace the whole team at free of cost to make project successful.
4. YOU guys want to leave companies at will but the companies should not replace you at will?
If you were bringing in value to the client that they cant get from TCS/WIPRO then you will have the job. Get some more skills, be best in the business and be smart. Know what it takes for long term success. You have to be on your toes all the time.
STOP whining, you are just wasting time. All the best!

Any ideas where can I get the latest specs for the individual photos (I485 filing purpose). I searched the web but couldn't find a USCIS document. I heard they no longer accept the 75 degree looking face.

I have not seen the language of the bill. Has anyone seen the exact language of the bill?
Should this bill become law (in its present form without any changes ) will the new provisions apply to ANY H1B application (i.e new applications, Transfer due to change of employer , H1B extension application with current employer) or just to NEW H1B applications and not to H1B extensions filed by the currentemployer.
There are hundreds of H1B applicants who do not have EAD but have approved PERM or approved PERM + approved I-140 and will be filing for extensions.
The H1B resttrictions in the TARP law only apply to new H1B filings.

I received a phone call (WOW!) from a sweet lady from CIS Ombudsman's office. I sent letters to his office and in the letter I mentioned my cell #. Anyway she wants a real person who got deniel. I told her that my friend got deniel (IVens are my fried). Anyway, she sent an email too after I asked her to give her info so that my friend can send her his case details. Unfortunately, the email I received shortly after the conversation, looks like general and does not have her ID. Please PM me if you like to hera more about the phone call.

Well even if you use AP, you need a passport, dont you? And the passport must be with the Consulate pending stamping. So one way to get the passport back is to withdraw the visa application.
A question though: is'nt it abandoning your H1B1 visa tenure if you enter on AP even with a valid H1B remaining?
I don't know if procedures are different in the consulates..In my country you apply for H1B visa ,they interview you and tell you that you will be granted a visa so we will call you when stamp is ready...you take your paaport and yoiu go home and whenever they call you for stamping you bring your passport and stamp it the same day...Are procedures different these days?

I and my wife both have approved I-140. My PD is Dec 8, 2003 and my wife has Dec 24, 2003. I am applying as beneficiary through my wife's application. Is it possible to use my PD instead? Both are EB3.

This is one of the key reasons why we are not successful in our mission. All we can do is "lets kill H1/L1 so I can get GC", "lets not worry about EB3 as long as my EB2 is fine!". The only way we can make any progress is to stay united. Lets not try to find carrots that would really be sticks on people who are also part of this cause.
EB3-I and EB2-I are both the same. EB3-I can port to EB2-I when the PD comes near. This is a normal human tendency and anybody would like to do it. The present EB3 guys are just waiting for the EB2 PD's to progress and they would move to EB2. I don't see anything wrong in that.
Lets come up with some action plan. Maybe we can draw the media's attention or send letters to our lawmakers and white house.

Normally how long the medicals are valid, I have applied my 485 in the past with medicals that are 7 month old
Normally valid for 1 year but according to my CS these days USCIS is very strict about tb test so they they recommond it to be in within 6 month time frame.

Well, I am just stating facts. Just because you dont like them, I cant help it. You got to learn to move on. There is a saying in my native tongue " A smart man should never climb the stairs of a court." My grandfather was a prosecutor and and used to tell this to me many times. But thats just me.
