We are apply independently since both of us are in H1B status
I presume that this marriage in foreign country may not be valid because the marriage was neither registered in India nor done according to Foreign Marriage Act, 1969, since both of us are citizen of India at this present time.
However; we are working out with our parents to get married and register in India, but unsure when this will happen.

Also, if getting married is important to you, your partner, and you are sure about your relationship, and if you guys are getting it done in India anyways, why not get a court marriage here ASAP before filing for your I-485.
From a GC perspective, it "might" be better to have one I-485 application with spouse as the beneficiary rather than pursuing two I-485s independently.

Any recent experiences please.
How easy or difficult is it.
Is it any different in Chennai or in Hyd.
I heard different things like some employer memo or something. Is it related to stamping.

Yes, you should get H1B stamp with Company C's annotation. Roseball's comments seems to suggest that it is not necessary to get a new visa as long as you H1B has not expired. However, that is not what I was told by my attorney when I changed employer and had to visit India. Also, during my interview in Chennai, the officer told me "I see that your application is for change of employer". I just said yes. I think it is best that you get in touch with an attorney and seek attorney's opinion. They are the experts and will have the correct information.

I'm from Bangladesh and EB3. As you know the I485 was current in July and i applied along with my EAD and AP. but this month in visa bulletin i found that the date went back to 2002. What is the way it suppose to be?
My question is: are they going to consider my application current or i stuck in the backlog. my understanding is that the visa bulletin reflects the availibility to send the application....they received my application on July 2nd, 2007.

It is a rosy but somewhat risky idea to submit AOS and I-140 concurrently. If the I-140 is rejected, so is the AOS. Premium processing helps take the guesswork out of the game (but only for the first I-140 applied using original LC) as you quickly come to know the fate of your I-140.
Cannot predict anything but my hunch is PP will be back in Oct 2007 for I-140's.

In some places, depending on your experience and capabilities, you might as well get comparable salary to US. Given that cost of living is low in India, you might end up with same disposable income after taxes and expenses.
Good to hear that Americans are getting an idea what it would be to live in a shell in a global economy. Germany, UK opened up their borders and more EU countries might follow suit like Netherlands, Belgium, lastly France.

I want to be more specific. I have a full time job. I'd like to setup a business LLC to get some contract works. For tax benefit, I can deduct some business cost with it.
On H1 you can setup business, invest in , take profits ,but you should not be on payroll ( in otherwords you cannot be an employee of your own company based on H1 status ).
Once you get your EAD ( IV's current indirect-primary objective ) , you can do work of your company and do those tax benifit tacktics .

Just realized I should mention that they look quite good as they are, and if you wanted to tinker with the stuff I mentiioned above I think you could turn it into something that would knock some eyeballs out.

Ok , just got off the phone with my lawyer.He says we can not file a I485 because the priority date is not current. EB3 is showing 01OCT01 and we can only file that form when the bulletin is showing April2002. He says we are not eligible for that...And then he said "if the date was current, you would be in Turkey for consular processing and will not need file"
